First fox cancels Tru Calling then Point Pleasant. It's a shame fox ever signed these shows to begin with. We would have all been much better off if the WB had signed them instead. They fit in with the fan base of Charmed, Angel, and Buffy. These two shows are the only ones I think I've ever watched on Fox. They obviously don't care about the fans and that is a shame because without the fans, the entire network would cease to exist. I think Fox needs to really think hard about what kind of shows their fans will like and pass on shows that don't fit. Then maybe a station more worthy of these kind of shows would have the chance to sign them...and we'd have a chance to continue to enjoy them.

If all you care about is ratings and money then why did you put on a stupid show like "Life On A Stick"? That shows ratings are HALF of what Point Pleasant was able to bring for you. I think your pulling a fantastic show like Point Pleasant wasn't because of ratings and money but something else, I think this is a big smoke stack for the real reason. Everybody loves this show and everybody is angry at how caluse you treat your new shows and your viewers. You really need a wake up call, we're not going to deal with this from you. For the first time in my life and I am 36 years old, I have boycotted a network. Because I can't trust you to leave on your new shows I don't want to even attempt to get involved in anything you know have to offer because I know you will eventually(Sooner rather than later)get rid of the show. Even TV TOME has a statement on their web page that you haven't YET gotten rid of your new show Life On A Stick. FOX doesn't have a good reputation with its viewers, I would hope as a good faith gesture that you reinstate Point Pleasant if not to begin a New season but to at least air the remaining 5 episodes. Have the desency to at least get this awesome show on dvd, YOU OWE US THAT MUCH!!! Marti Noxon is an amazing creator to have made such an awesome show that we all love and miss terrible.

I was all excited to see what was going to happen next on POINT PLEASANT THE MOST AWESOME SHOW ON TV, NOT TO MENTION HOT MAN GRANT SHOW, I couldn't even find anything on it on the Fox website, found this petition from running a search on the web to find out it's CANCELLED!!! WHAT!!! Make me watch every week in anticipation of whats going to happen next and then Yank it!!?? I think you owe all of us a FREE DVD of the ENTIRE SHOW! This is BS!! After American Idol I'm DONE watching Fox. NBC is SMART to bring out Revelations after Fox's stupid stunt of yanking Point Pleasant. Someone should be fired over that, what a stupid move.
Critics say that Point Pleasant wasn't very "realistic". Firt off, since when is television realistic? That's the point: to entertain. I was entertained. Were you? Second, since when is 24 realistic? There is no way on earth (including Hollywood) where THAT MUCH STUFF could happen in 24 hours. Give me a break. Fox listened to their pockets and critics and disappointed the people who make the real difference: the viewers.
Just like My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss being cancelled and bringing back Tru Calling with no promo, rhyme or reason, Fox has once again screwed up by cancelling Point Pleasant. It was a great show and deserves to finish out its season. Maybe all the fuss about it will raise awareness and get the show some more viewers.
