Dear Mr. Moore,

You of all people MUST get the message out to all people across this
country and the world that we are being sabotaged by our doctors by
them pushing pills on to us and getting us addicted to a variety of
anti- anxiety, anti-depressants and other drugs such as sleeping
pills and the list goes on and on...
I am one such person who was prescribed a very addicting
Benzodiazepine called Xanax last December and my life or what is
left of it, has been a living nightmare. I am going through major
withdrawal and landed in the hospital several times. I now had to go
on another drug just so I would get the seizures you can experience
if you go cold turkey. I am seeing a detox doctor and he has lots of
experience in this field since he too was an addict and has since
recovered.
Without going into details and not boring you with my nightmare,
let's just say, it is an ongoing battle just to face another day
with numerous withdrawal symptoms that can last months or even years
since these "poisons" really screw up your brain and Central Nervous
System and every system in your body.
I am NOT alone in this. I heard that at any given time, there are
about 30 million Americans alone who are addicted to these poisons
and these damn pill pushers, our esteem doctors who don't know how
to cure but only push the medications that can kill us, are the ones
who have to be held accountable for their actions along with the
damn and corrupt pharmaceutical companies who make billions from our
sufferings. It's a sad story that must be told.

I have made many friends from various newsgroups that are there for
us who are suffering a daily battle trying to get off these poisons
and suffering from their aftermaths. If you do a search for groups
on yahoo you will find many that deal with what we are dealing with.
These poisons come in all forms and shapes and sizes and we are
baited by these pill pushers and then they can't understand why we
can't get off or are suffering from their side effects and if we
want to and need to come off, they don't know how to do it or don't
want to hear how to do it and dismiss us as crazy or its all in our
heads. It's shameful to what is going on in the medical world. I
used to be part of it when I used to be a nurse. Thankfully that is
all behind me, from choice but also by illness that makes my
everyday life a living hell.

You, Michael Moore, are just the person to do a full investigation
of this madness. You can expose the doctors for what they really
are. We are counting on you to do something to stop this from
happening to another innocent person who goes to their doctor in
hopes of feeling better or getting well, but they are either
dismissed as crazy, its all in your head, especially if you are a
woman, and sent home with a slew of prescriptions that will either
make you so very sick or kill you eventually.
I, in this letter to you, are specifically talking about anti-
anxiety and anti-depressants medications that are prescribed and
handed out like candy. these are very powerful, addicting and brain
altering drugs and they should be outlawed or at least monitored
much more carefully. And these doctors and pharmaceutical companies
must be held responsible for their actions.
I would like to string them up and pour these poisons down their
throats and see how they cope and withdraw from them. It's not a
pretty picture and not very easy.
The biggest culprits are the benzodiazepines like Xanax, Ativan,
Klonopin, etc and the SSRI's like Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft, just to
name a few. Their side effects, withdrawal symptoms are those from
hell and certainly outweigh any benefits you get from them if any.

We are so sure you can help us in our conquest. Who better but you
to do something to stop this madness? I can give you any help you
need and there are so many resources to find out just what the hell
is going on.
Please, please, I beg you to start a full investigation on this
madness. It can't go on any longer and if I can stop one more doctor
from writing out that script for these poisons to one more innocent
person who can learn coping skills, use therapy, biofeedback,
meditation, yoga, acupuncture, and many other things to help them
instead of ingesting these poisons into their precious bodies, it
will be well worth my efforts and yours.

I hope you will consider this project. I really do. You are the right person to bring this horror to the light and help make people aware that they should strongly think twice about ever taking these poisons.

I hope you will respond to this letter and request. I know you are
extremely busy but this is so very important and shouldn't be
ignored.
