Every day many polar bears die and the man culprits are industrialised countries which send huge amounts of toxic gases to the atmosphere.
Facts:
A reduction in the hunting season caused by delayed ice formation and earlier break up will mean reduced fat stores, reduced body condition, and therefore reduced survival and reproduction;
Polar bears can note survive the loss of sea ice habitat that will occur of current levels if greenhouse gas emissions continues;
Mortality of cubs is rising while the weight of adult bears is declining;
Polar bear’s population has declined about 15 percent in the last decade;
Unprecedented numbers of polar bear drownings and cannibalism are already being noted;
The bears are going hungry are there is a small change to raise cubs;
Some scientists predict that the ice could melt completely by 2040 and polar bears will be extinct by the end of the century;
Earth’s temperature is increasing every year melting the artic sea.

We must do something NOW! The future of this species is grim.
It’s in our hands to reverse the situation
