We, as concerned citizens of the United States of America, have come to the realization that the usage of political labels such as that of ¡°Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, and Republican¡± are harmful to the society when overly used in the media. Phrases such as these don¡¯t allow for intelligent conversation between the politicians you show on television and the common people of The United States. This is due to the stereotyping involved with labels and the negative impacts are those of a divided nation. We have become aware that to try to stop this through individual letters to the politicians would be ineffective and time consuming. Therefore, we have come to you to ask that you stop advocating for those who use political labels in an offensive way. To do this, all you need to do is disallow anyone who has used political labels before on television to be shown on your network, this includes everyone, even the president of the United States of America. They are to remain suspended from the media until they sign a contract that states they will specifically avoid using terms like Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, and Republican. If this petition is allowed for, I believe we can see a lessening in the hostility that exists today in the political sphere and I can only imagine a more unified America. Because of this, I urge you to take this petition into account and try to act for the betterment of America.
