i listen to all aspects of punk. punk, hardcore, pop-punk. just so you know. the ramones, in my opinion, are one of the original pop-punk bands. they sang tons of songs about love. and i wouldn't even classify good charlotte or simple plan as a "pop-punk" band. blink 182, greenday, better luck next time, and no use for a name are great examples of great pop-punk bands. i don't know why you even started this rant about pop-punk. why are you so pissed? at least these bands are trying to look up to their influences. at least there not singing patriotic country bull shit.

Green Day kicked ass before you were probably born you little internet name dropper. I saw Green Day opening for Bad Religion in 1993, still one of the best shows I\'ve ever seen.
