In my opinion, abortion is wrong. Many people out there will argue with me. They say they have been raped and I am not saying they're lying, but why hurt the child. Unfortunately, you had to face the pain, and God forbid that ever happens to anybody else, but why make your child suffer. They NEED you. There was nobody out there that would take care of them. God gave a wonderful gift to you. Sometimes you have to go through hell to get to heaven, and if rape was the way, take advantage of the fact that you are going to have something beautiful, don't kill it. Take care of it. I am only 14, so i may be speaking out of time, but just think hard about it. Research it. Look at photos, it is emotionly scaring. Do you want to be the person that was responsible for that?

What you guys are petitioning for could prevent the women who actually NEED abortions from getting it when the time comes, and break the hearts of the people they leave behind if they die, because a bunch of COLD HEARTED JERKS who can't mind their own business decided that it's best for everyone else to make it illega to have a procedure that could save a pregnant woman's life at the cost of her unborn child's own life. You people will be hated for all eternity by the husbands and children of the women who lost their lives because of YOUR selfishness. It might seem wrong to YOU, but some families would prefer sacrificing the life of the unborn child if it meant being able to have more years to spend living together with their wife/mother/daughter.

So are all of you are saying that women who get pregnant from RAPE should force themselves to have a nine month reminder of the WORST night in their lives growing inside of them when all the victim probably wants to do is just forget about that night if they can, but won't be allowed to get rid of the reminder just because it's unethical to kill the rape baby before it has a chance to live? I'll bet the the poor women will go insane with the constant reminder, and probably kill themselves trying to abort the kid themselves if they can't go to a clinic to do it the proper way. And what about the mothers who may need to terminate their pregnancies in order to save THEIR lives, because they have some kind of illness that requires treatment that might damage or kill the baby growing inside of them? A lot of women, plus their families, might prefer saving their own lives in order to be able to spend more time with the husband and children they already have, rather than throw it all away by risk sacrificing their lives for the unborn child that's growing inside of them. What if the mother died from the illness before she even had the chance to give birth to the kid she gave up her important life saving treatments for? Then the family left behind would be in mourning for BOTH mother and unborn child, instead of just the unborn child. They can always try again when and if the mother's life is in the safe zone and no longer likely of dying anytime soon, that is if the treatment doesn't make her sterile or something. I say SCREW the whole lot of you who would consider the life of an unborn souless fetus more important than the sanity or life of the mother who has to bear them.

abortion is a woman's right. and should be excersised as pleased. it should of course stay legal, because if it becomes illegal, back alley abortions will become more and more popular. i'd rather the woman be safe, than the fetus.
