I support this petition. AATA is a great way for those that do not own cars to go to and from work and get around the area. When those that do own their own transportation take The Ride, it cuts back on traffic and parking problems.
Relieving Ypsilanti of it's backbone, transportation, would only continue to cause a downward economic spiral. Please consider finding other ways to cut costs.
The degradation of our public transit system would only result in more vehicle traffic and increase congestion and personal car emissions. Preserve the bus route!
I support this petition. Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti are vitally connected The increased traffic streaming along Washtenaw that I have experienced in my journeys illustrates this. Please keep the lines open between the two cities. Many, many people depend upon it.
I support this petition. The bus service is a crucial part of many residents' lives in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. The bus service also encourages folks to conserve energy (e.g. supports a cleaner environment) by continuing to have public transport available between Ypsi and Ann Arbor.
