I support this petition. Mass transit is a vital part of Washtenaw County's infrastructure. People from other counties in SE Michigan tell me how lucky we are to NOT have daily p.m. gridlocks. I wouldn't want to be a patient at one of our fine hospitals the week buses stop running. I rode the bus to all my jobs for 3 years before I could afford a car. If the transprotation to work isn't here, the tax paying workers won't be able to consider living here.
I support this petition cuz dis bus line took me to the ugly mug when i had no vehicle and that ruled. plus i have friends who rely on this to get home almost every day.
I support this petition. I remember using this service in the past. It was vital for me. Now we are trying to lessen our dependency on foreign oil. It seems vital to our nation.

I support this petition. I think this is a prelude to putting the issue of a city income tax on the ballot which may well pass. I'm ready to vote yes on a tax hike.... it's an ok thing!
I support this petition. Without the benefit of mass transit in the area cutting such services would handicap the work force in both Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor.
I support this petition, and the impact that its purpose has on the affected communities. I depend on AATA bus service to get to work, school, and around in general.
I support this petition to the fullest. I was very shocked and extremely disappointment to hear that there is even consideration to cut the transit system in Ypsilanti. I have been taking the AATA bus from Ypsilanti to Ann Arbor since June of 2005. It has been a crucial part of my transportation because I have not owned a car and I have relied on the AATA bus transit system to get me back and forth to work. The route that I take in the city of Ypsilanti is very convenient and a straight line to my place of employment. I strongly urge that this proposal be reconsidered and denied. Therefore, people like myself, relatives and friends that rely on bus transportation can continue to depend on and enjoy the convenience of the Ann Arbor Transit Bus System in Ypsilanti. Thank you for your reconsideration.

I support this petition. Bus service to Ypsi is crucial for people who want to work or live in Ypsi or Ann Arbor and can't afford a car to travel back and forth.
I support this petition. It is unbelievable to think that our area would be without basic public transportation between communities. It's a very backward way of thinking.
I support this petition.
How can people who cannot afford cars get back and forth to work...??? If you cut buses a lot of people will not be able to make the money they pay their bills with!
I support this petition. It is not only people that stay in the Ann Arbor area that rely on the bus services to get them to were they need to go, rather it be work, or school. Limiting your service is just not the right answer to the problem.
It is inexcusable for government agencies to immediately eliminate programs for our lower income residents. Why don't they adjust the tax "benefits" for the upper income residents and businesses. Every society is founded upon the backs of its poorest citizens to carry the richest citizens. The rich need to assist the citizens not as forunate as themselves with connective programs to enhance all of our opportunities to improve our situations. I support this petition.
I support this petition. What a ludicruis suggestion. To reduce the bus service or eliminate it altogether would be disasterous to many people in our community. I for one have depended on this service since 1984 for transporation to and from work. This is totally unacceptable. There must be another way to save money.
I support this petition. I cannot believe this would even consider this a viable option! Both cities rely heavily on workers and the commerce exchanged amongst them.
To eliminate service would be to hurt its citizens, its businesses, and its overall economy. Why would we want to work retroactively?
I support this petition. I depend on the #4, #5, & #6 for commuting between Ypsilanti, where I live, and U of M, where I am in graduate school. I agree with previous signees that we need more service, not less of it.
I support this petition. Please don't cut this bus route it's not fair to the workers who not has access to their jobs. If you are going to cut a bus line then cut the Ann Arbor one too. I know that the economy is getting bad but God will make a way.
This simply can't be an option. We need strong leadership from our elected officials to survive the financial crisis without destroying our quality of life and pulling the rug out from under the most at-risk members of our community.
AATA Bus service is crucial to thousands of Washtenaw county families. Families who depend on this service to get to work, school, stores and to have access to resources. To reduce and/or eliminate bus service to Ypsi will be a disservice to the entire county.
