I totally disagree. You see ugly woman can cover up their ugly/average faces.. when men aren\'t aloud to wear make up.. and are stuck with what they were born with. Women have a choice to not wear makeup yet you do anyway. So stop *****ing because this is rediculous.
I support this petition. Men need to be (and I think should be) marketed into the basic makeup routines of what the average woman (and yes there is really no such thing), then into full makeup – the works. This whole debate is similar to men wearing earrings. A few brave souls (men) had one ear pierced some years ago then more did two and wore small earrings or studs. Today men easily have one or upwards ear piercings and wear earrings of any shape or size and it is not even worth comment today. Men (and women) have the oportunity to lookstunningly attractive to their those that we wish to attract if they wear makeup.I am a male and fully support women and men wearing full makeup. I do not see why this needs to be a social taboo and I also do not see why men should not wear the same colors and amount as any woman who chooses to wear the maximum full makeup. I will actively support any movement to achieve this as fast as possible. I do not wear makeup, but am going to get a full range of MAC this week and start – trouble is I have no idea where to begin, but have wanted to do this for a long time – and I know a hang of a lot of straight men like me who also want to.
I agree, i wear makeup and lipgloss the lot when i can, I also where nail varnish but thats because my girl friend loves to test every colour out on me lol.
I support this petition. I would love to wear makeup! Eye Shadow, Eye Liner and Mascara! Especially foundation! personally, I would really love wearing lipstick and gloss! I don't see what the big deal is? I have had women put makeup on me and even had my eyebrows trimmed and shaped! I loved it! I was actually turned on by it! Kissing a woman with lipstick and gloss while your wearing lipstick and gloss is definitely Hot!
I support. Well you shouldn't say all men just take a shower and are over it, its just the men you know do that. I don't wear make up but it takes me forever to get ready, I would consider men to wear makeup because people expect men to have clear skin but we all don't especially me. A lot of MEN in L.A. and New York wear makeup ( there straight to ) because most of the jobs there require you to look really good no mater what, and guess what all the male celebrities women adore wear makeup, and most of them look like there 50 when there like 30 without it. I go to the gym like 6 times a week, it takes half an hour to do my hair, and it takes forever to choose what the hell to wear to go out and you telling me all freak'n men are done in like 5 minutes please you must complain so much your parents hated you. Of course its OK for men to wear makeup no matter if there gay, straight, or bisexual. I think im going to buy some concealer and foundation to piss people off who care because the only reason why guys bitch about a fellow male wearing makeup is because their insecure with themselves.
well firstly i am straight. i went town with my mate once and she got me to go to MAC and put on some foundation, i've never done such a thing before, she said it looks great and she puts it on her boyfriend all the time. when i looked at how better it looked i bought concealer foundation and blot powder and now i use it all the time! nearly all male celebs have it on and so do models, so y can't someone who's into their looks do it,
Concealer and mild dabs of foundations and blot powder are fine, most guys don't wear them because others may think they are gay. anything else is extreme such as eye liner unless your a goth or sutin, but no1 should care what people think and do what makes them feel good, as long as you know whether ur gay or staright thats what matters , even tho waering make up shouldnt have nutin to do wit sexuality, ppl are just goofs sometimes to concern it with it. so more power to ya if u wana use the 3 i mentioned
i think it's fine for a guy to use concelaer and foundation to even skin tone in moderation so it does'nt look like you have any on. sexuality has nothing to do with wearing make up or not. if i guy wants to look better for his own conciouns, let him.
im a straight guy and i like to wear makeup...most people dont even know i wear it....i just use concealer and foundation mostly to even out my face. if women can use it to improve their looks, why cant a guy?? i dont see anything wrong with that...as long as a guy aint using it to look like a girl!
Why noe ask WHY DO WOMEN HAVE TO WEAR MAKEUP? In the animal world it\'s the male of most species that is flashy to attract the female! Why arn\'t guys therefore more concerned with HOW THEY LOOK!?! Why do we paint outrselves up to attract them. Hey thy\\ey\'re the ones who are always horny...they should be the ones worring about how we think they look!!!
I agree. Countless times I have seen many guys who could use a little concealer. Women are expected to spend time with the process of putting on makeup well, intricate hair, makeup removal, eyebrows, shaving legs, shaving underarms... its sexist. Men need to do more. Not to mention eyeliner is hot (and I'm not even emo at all).
I have a neighbor who has been wearing makeup since the fifties. His name is Richard Merrel aka Little Richard. I would wear it if it was a little more popular
Guys don't wear makeup because Their fathers would beat them to a pulp with a 4-iron and their mothers would cry. As things progress in life it becomes HARDER to change your physicall appearance without being judged
Well I am a guy and I wore makeup since school, started wearing it when I was 13-14 I think, and I'm 17 now, but the amount of chavs there are now it's kinda hard for people to start that young because everyone assumes your gay which is why alot of men don't wear it, infact in my college I think I am the only straight guy that wears makeup lol, I know a few gay men and even only 1 of them wears makeup on a daily basis like me, anyway yeah I do think more men should wear it but only if it looks good on them. Oh and admittedly I do find a girl more attractive in makeup but that's the point of makeup :P By the way I only wear like a liquid black eyeliner but it's still makeup right :P
I'm a pretty boy and I wear a light foundation and concealer. I've got a creative beard as well and definitely stand out in public. I got compliments virtually on a daily basis about my look. I'm sure it's a touch more than I probably should but I like the look and get pretty good feedback. However I'm going to start with chemical peels and those clear up and give yo ua clean complexion because theres nothing hotter than a flawless NATURAL complexion
Well, men don't wear makeup because not all men are THAT self concious about the way they look. And also, throughout the years it has been seen as feminine to wear makeup. You get the picture. But i support men wearing make up :]
I totally agree with you. Women are always trying to look their best for men, stressing themselves over weight issues, perfection issues, and so on! Men just sit back, relax, and hope that a beautiful womens walks on past them. Men just look for beauty in looks, not women's inner beauty. If you find a man who accepts you for who you are on the inside- KEEP HOLD OF HIM! It's rare to find someone like that. :P
Hey i agree sometimes i use make-up without people knowing because if my brother and them know they will tease me so i do it to cover up zits and things
Actually in ancient Egypt long before and after the time of Cleopatra not only did men and women pretty much go naked but no matter how rich or poor both sexes always wore makeup. But nothing is carved in stone and so with time things-especially fashions change. So now it’s to each his own on the accounting of makeup. And women no one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to wear it. But admittedly being a man I do find most women who wear it to be more attractive. And that is after all the point. But for men it just isn’t in fashion and when seen on a straight male it comes as a shock. So to avoid unsavory controversy and possible ridicule it’s really only natural the vast majority men won’t wear it. Subsequently ladies if you want to change that then get into the fashion industry and push for it because that’s the only way it’s ever going to happen. I mean hell in the sixties who thought men would follow women in wearing bell bottom pants as a fashion statement. But yes it did happen.
