We all know that ss reform will only make the rich richer, and the poor poorer. Minimum wage is a joke. In Az, it is only 5.15 per hour. This is hardly even enough to rent a studio apartment, let alone pay all the other bills.
If what the president said that the terrorists envy the standard of living of the American people is true, then let’s show it; if we are a nation that believe in democracy, then we demand that our elected officials think hard and make it available for all the people at home and abroad; if we believe that every tax payer is entitled to save and spend their moneys as they wish, then let them make the decision what social security we should have.
1- Every working person should receive a minimum wage that will enable them to live well within the standard of living in there home state.
2- We can not temper with the retirement benefit since for most Americans it is the only survival income they have. Most of 60% of Americans do not participate in the IRA, 401k, or other investment account. The fact of the matter is, that most people live under paid and above their income capacity. We can not play Russian roulette with Social Security retirement. I fully agree that the FICA tax cup should be removed and be increased to support the future of social security as is. People who earn more should pay more, and that thinking is not being called socialist but being responsible in a complex society like ours.
3- People covered by Medicare should have access to no cost medicine and drugs. Most can not afford the minimum medicine payments they need to stay alive and well.
4- I will not by from any company that lobby our congressman in their pursuits for more corporative gains making it illegal for the well being of Americans.

Please consider the MAJORITY of the U.S.and STOP the privatization of social security. Finer minds than yours have determined that, at best, monies funnelled into private accounts do only marginally better than than if the taxpayers keep their funds w/i the system. This action serves only to create more wealth for Shrub's cronies, as does every other action this counterfeit president has taken.
