It's time to take care of the majority of working stiffs! The bush crime family is robbing the country blind of our freedom and financial stability. When are the american people going to come out of their stupor? Could it possibly be the fact that most have to work two jobs & they find it impossible to keep up with the so called major news networks? But wait a minute, the news on tv is more interested in the M.Jackson story, and important events like the runaway bride . Congress better start working on a completely new voting system ,no more Diebold computers.

The Ownership society is a cruel farce when the means of possession of property are undemined and put out of reach for those who live on salaries that put them near or below the poverty-line. Until tax relief for the middleclass: 30k-89k is established at a 5% or lower rate, then all talk of property ownership is for those in the upper income brackets and not for us. Walmart and other stores who exploit the right to work laws are no better than those who "owned" indentured servants. Property rights are only valid when there is equity. without such, property rights are a weapon used more often on the weak and dispossesed. Merlin Henry-Ranting Polemicist

Our brain dead sociopath so called president has never had to accept the word NO. This moron was so persistent in forcing the congress to allow Priscilla Owen to be approved as another nutcase judge. Obviously a personal friend of his. The democrats trying to stop this would have resulted in a change the rules of government according to the republicans so they can get their way. He must get what he wants and he is going to throw his little fits in his nauseating press conferences until he does. Negotiations to the repugs are not negotiations, this is an all or nothing agenda and battle right now, and any debate they don't win will be debated with threats until they win. He has promised a veto of any stem cell bill that he doesn't like. He forced through a personal agenda of the bankruptcy bill, Citi Corp is funded by the Saudi's. He calls on his majority leaders to create anomie, or mob rule whenever he isn't getting his way. The other thing I have noticed is since the last election there have been no terror alerts, ZERO, so fear mongering works, it really does, what happened, are the terrorists no longer interested in us because Dubya is too incompetent to find Bin Laden. Its amazing to me that so many people in this country are asleep. It is amazing to me that so many people believe this administration. I think that this administration trying to justify that they spread freedom and prosperity is the most hypocritical claim, notwithstanding the claim of morals and values. I would argue that lying, torture and killing innocent people would also be violations of morals and values. We must remove this brain dead sociopath from office, these republican nutcases are dangerous, and when they talk about spreading freedom and prosperity and they pass legislation like the patriot act, they are nothing but hypocrits.

there are many injustices being perpetrated upon the citizens of our country. Coalitions are finally forming to rebuild our demolcracy as it was intended to be and create an even moire helthy climate to build upon. it is more than a movement of Left or Right. It is a movement which honors the right of all of us to live free and honorable lives. What has been asked for is in the form of a demand and will affect all future elections of those who do not wish to participate as true Patriots in the cause for true justice.

Stop privatization. It's all about garnering more wealth for the wealthy at the expense of the middle and lower classes. YES to a LIVING WAGE. Also, we should propose that all members of Congress that votes "no" to the minimum wage have their salaries reduced to reflect the current minimum wage. Let's see how loud they squawk then....
