TOTALLY FLAWED IDEA to ATTEMPT start having private accounts for retirement, that is no form of real security, or any social security... you cant change horses mid stream,..... a middle aged 51 year old like myself... stuck.. will many of my peers be homeless elderly,(sob) except the very rich , which is SEEMS you care about mr george w. WAKE UP.. our society is interwoven and interdependent, and that is a good beginning, but it needs to be expanded for health care basics and emergencies for ALL US citizens.. we are a third world country in that sense..... the money for retirees would come from the same place, and void the tax cuts on rich...over 20 to 30 years, there could be gradual replacement of the funds taken from soc security for the nasty deficit... there will be more contributions, raise the min, and may have to increase the ben a llttle less per year, if severely needed.... MR George W., i dont think you have on your thinking cap, OR you are just a self centered pioussnob sho does not care about us, the people.. THINK ABOUT IT ... and try to adopt a more realistic and democratic view of us, ya know, WE THE PEOPLE... many fine intelligent non snobs have been alienated by your poorly thought out schemes re: our .. It is os hard surviving in this modern age. Even on a higher than minimum wage salary do I find it very difficult to financially support the neccesities of life. Please ocnsider the poorer citizens of the Nation which make up a huge percentage. PLease understand that we can not afford toe at half the time. We cannot afford to keep ourselves healthy. We cannot survive. Isn't the job of our government to look out and take care of the people? Well everybody except for the very wealthy are suffering. Open your eyes and relaize that just because you have money in your pockets doesn't mean the rest of us are as fortunate.

Do not fix something that is not broken. The medicine is much too harsh in regard to privatizing social security. Prescription Drug Plans on Part B of Medicaid must be re-tooled to included 805 reimbursement with no increased premimium. Medicaid in general needs to be looked at, including part A....particularly benefits made available for mentally ill adults.

While you're boycotting abusive pharmacies, don't forget to boycott those that allow their pharmacists to refuse to fill legally prescribed medications because the pharmacist has "ideological" hangups about certain medications. It is not acceptable to allow extremist ideologies to override a doctor's expert medical diagnosis and the patients choice to take the prescribed medication. Since when is an uninformed pharmacist allowed to have more power over medical decisions than a medical professional's diagnosis based on the private details of a patient's history, which are unknown to the pharmacist?
