Sex offender definately need to be tagged because they are dangerous, immoral, and have no remorse. They need to be kept track of at all times and should NOT be trusted. SICK INDIVIDUALS preying upon innocent and helpless innocence!
I was molested at 9 yrs.old by my Mother's friend's husband. At 19 yrs. old I was brutally raped. So, I feel sex offender's should faced the music for doing something that is very wrong and lefted me in counseling for years.
Everyday I give my child a condom incase he comes across a sex offender. That way I atleast know he's safe from unprotected rape. It's the least I can do, actually the least I can do is sign this petition and think it did anything to help protect my child.
Sex Offenders should not be let out so easy of Jail, if they are realesed they should be tagged so they can be tracked by GPS, so the police knows where they are at all times.
We owe it to our Children to protct them from these monsters and also to take larger steps towards getting all of these extremely sick individuals out of our society.
It is about time, that our lawmakers start protecting our children, and stop making deals with the criminals that abuse and violently rape, torture, and even kill our children. IT IS TIME TO PUT THE CHILDREN FIRST.... They are the future! They are the most innocent victims. Whenever a deal is made, or a light sentance is given, abused/molested children areound the world are being taught there is no justice for them!
Frustration and anger come to mind here as pervs get away with murder...... there are no exceptions - this is not tolerateable. The men and woman that think that their above the law .... no,no,no,no ......
I would like to see these sick individuals prosececuted to the fullest extent of the law!!Also, have a NATIONAL SEX registry, where they have their photo, name and address on it.Then cirrculate it all over the world,to be seen by all!!
We need to do everything we can to protect our children. There is still to many predators out there who are getting away with horrible sexual crimes against our children. I'm all for whatever it takes to make our children safer!
No offense, but robbers can be rehabilitated, Drug addicts can be rehabilited....now Petifiles and child moletsters..can not be rehabilitated...we should just save our tax paying dollors and make sure our children are protected.THE PUNISHMENT FOR HURTING A CHILD SHOULD BE DEATH!
We need to re-think the prison system which incarcerates people ar LONGER for drug 'crimes' than for rape & sexual abuse of women & girls.(Crimes against boys does seem to ussually be taken seriously).EARLIER inervention with teen offenders and MANDATORY treatment & MANDATORY MINIMUN 10 years sentences with REAL superivision upon release for FIRST offense. Life without parole for violent sexual offenders and child rapists after 2nd offense. But, people ahve to recognize that MEN THEY KNOW will be MOST offenders, NOT just the 'stranger".The damage done by these predators is incalcuable---nad it last a lifetime, so, the sentence should fit the crime.
Re-offending sex offender should have ONLY 1 possible sentence LIFE IN PRISON at least this way kids would be a lot safer. By the way the sex offender should be put in the prison's general population NO SPECIAL treatment.
The reality of it is that while the recidivism rate is 100%- rates for capture & conviction are significantly lower- Why do you think these monsters should have even a single chance to re-offend? The only inactive pedophile is a dead pedophile. Thart is a law I would stand in support of 100%.While I wholeheartedly agree that these legislative proposals are a great start, the fallout of such crimes in the lives of my family members is incalculable. This is devastation caused by a heroin addict who has been molesting for at least 40 years, including his own daughter. It was extremely difficult to get her removed from his "care" because he has perfected the art of victimizing without leaving evidence. It is a whole different world out there folks, and once it has impacted your life in any manner, you begin to understand that they are beyond rehabilitation. Even those who willingly submit to "chemical castration" have the same sick drives and they rape with foreign objects. Perhaps too graphic for some, but pedophilia thrives on denial. Deal with it thoroughly, accurately, and completely. Only then will we be able to effectively protect our youngest & most vulnerable members of society. After all is said and done it boils down to this choice:whose lives are more important, theirs orour children's?
Sex offenders should not be alloweed to plea bargain under any circumstances. They should serve the fullest terms at all times. Terms for all sexual offenses, especially of children, need to be lengthend.
As much as I am wholeheartily in agreement with :A law that calls for a national lifetime exclusion zone for all schools, day care centers, parks, playgrounds or places where children frequent. This includes children's websites. No exceptions.
I am also think that the experts in this field should get to the root causes inorder to prevent further crimes occuring. The saying: "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. The governments if they are sincere about debt reduction should seriouly ponder this saying t t
Anyone who is convicted of a sex crime against a child should be turned over (without repercustion) to the adult family members of the child for a dose of real justice. It doesn't seem that our laws cannot stop these crimes.
Itotally stand with the american people and the people allover the world to support and pettition that the sex offenders should be punished .and make sure they dont get chance once and forall
Had these laws been in force years ago, recent victims would not have been as easily stalked and killed; better track of serial offenders would make it possible to detect when they are stalking someone with the intent to violate ; fewer victims and their families may be afraid to testify against the offenders if the sentences were just. Many victims fear retaliation from the predators after the predator is released. In the case of the victimization of one of my children, most of the other victims who surfaced through the work of law enforcement, were afraid to testify. Shortly after the predator was released after serving only 10 months of 15 years to life sentence, one of the siblings of my child who was a victim boarded a bus and came face to face (unknowingly, at first) with the offender. Many victims and their families would be relieved to know that where courts fail to keep serial predators (some who even prey on children in places like churches) behind bars to serve their time and away from other children, it would be a comfort to know that the predator (many of whom are violent and may kill their victims) are tracked. Where tracking may fail at times to stop a predator, it will however, properly tie them to any crime that they commit. Our children are our future and they deserve this protection. Many sexual predators cannot be, while some do not want to be cured (unless they are castrated).Since castration is not being considered, the items in this petition, while less severe and much easier on the predators than they (the offenders) are on their victims, it should suffice and ring loud and clear that we the people of the United States will do what we can do to protect our children from sexual predators. Hopefully, in the future, fewer of them will be released on good behavior (the same criteria that many offenders feign to gain the confidence of their victims and their families.
