i support this petition fully. Keep sex offenders and previously charged sex offenders AWAY from children and especially keep them AWAY from day cares, schools, parks, ect. were children are. Make them wear ankle bracelets for life for the sake of innocent children who have no understanding of who or what a sex offender is or does please keep them safe do not let them grow up into a world were at such a young age they were put through a very tramatic experience please keep them safe.

Yeah i totally support the sex offender registry going national, instead of having it independently run by states. This girl I know, I went to her house for a date, and I met her brother, and at first I didnt think anything of it, i spoke to her a few days later and she said her brother is a convicted pedophile and sex offender. he was playing on swings RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO HIS HOUSE. Hows that for mis-informed, that could be someones kid being violated by that sick bastard. Personally I think the whole sex offender issue has been entirely dramatized. Sure there are sick people in the world however I believe that instead of releasing them back into society and wasting precious time on these lowlifes why not just keep them in jail? That is what jail is for! And also it is your job as a parent to protect your children, if your child gets molested it is partially your fault to be blunt here. You are responsible for keeping your child safe, certainly unexpected things happen but if you aren't putting forth an effort things happen really quick. So first off stop this ignorance, protect your children, next of just throw them in jail, forget about Jessica's law and all the other bullshit, just keep them in jail and stop wasting time.
i think that our law enforcement agencies should be more into getting these guys then anything else...there are SICK people out there and they need to get caught...

Sex offenders... When i was younger, my neighbor had raped me. When we went to court about the deal, he was let free to go because they didn't have enough evidence to prove that he had done it. I support this, get those pervs locked up for good.
I support this. I just found out that I have a 64 year old sex offender living next door to me and that makes me angry. My wife and I do not have children but it still makes me nervous. I guess that is why I have a Concealed Weapon Permit..... and LOTS of guns.

and i do understand there are different types of offenders, and i do see a huge differnce between the 18 yr old who slept with his 16-17 yr old girlfriend and the 40 yr old who rapes a 10 yr old!

i dated a guy that was not regestered. do know how hard that is to hear when you have kids that some perv is living with you. does the goverment not keep up with these people. do like they do dogs put a chip in them and keep track of them. if not that build a town for all for them to live in.
as a surviver of molestation, i cant beleive that anyone would have to draw up a petition just to get our gov't to protect our children. when i was 4 i was violated for lack of a more appropriate word. because he was someone i knew, i could not tell my mom. i felt like i wasn't safe. i grew up with it all raging around inside of me. i have bipolar disorder, have been treated for alcohol abuse and used to ritually mutilate myself. every time i see a green door, i remember what that animal took from me. i am only 24.unless the gov't wants more individuals like myself, then they will put a stop to the raping of our children. if the parents won't care for the children, then the united states gov't is obligated.
I support this because how many children will suffer and possibly die from a child molestor. It saddens me when a child is killed and they give the person a light sentence because "they are emotionally challeneged or mentally challenged", that is bullcrap. They should be killed, not allowed to go on probabtion. I generally do think the death senentce is a good thing but for a person that can engage in sexual acts with young children and babies should be put to death.
