Truely the system does not protect the victims, they only protect child molesters. Jessica\'s Law doesn\'t mean a thing. All that hard work to get that passed and we still go with the the grid chart. So what is the whole point? There is no 25yr minimum. I still feel we people need to take care of it ourselves. \"An eye for an eye.\"
I support this petition to the fullest extent. I am currently going through the court system to put the pig that raped my daughter where he belongs. In Prion. However, Jessica\'s Law states 25years minimum to Life in prison but there is a grid. So this perpetrator will get out in about 15 years. What does a 25 minimum sentence really mean? It means NOTHING. He will get out and do this to other children. This is what it means.
I support this petition,my 11 yr old son is a victim,his voice was heard,the offender confessed,and was put behind bars,now he has posted bond,it\'s still under investigation,their are more victims,innocent children,lets fight for our children and their rights! I am!
I support this petition. We need tougher laws for child predators. These people who molest are children need more than a slap on the wrist. Repeat offenders need locked away for life. This is a serious crime that is not getting enough attention. As an elementary teacher, I have reported cases to social services and little action is taken. Yes, they look around the home, but the men are not arrested and locked away to protect our children. I am so tired of seeing life after life ruined. We need castration, chemical or physical for ANY sex offenders who are released back into our communities. Repeat offenders should be locked away for life. What if it was your daughter? Take some action on this issue.
