We, the undersigned, call on the WTA, the ATP, and all current sponsors to discontinue endorsing tennis tournaments in the United Arab Emirates for wrongfully excluding qualified Israeli tennis players wishing to compete in ongoing and future professional tennis tournaments being hosted there.

UAE officials have wrongfully denied visas to Israeli WTA player Shahar Peer and presumably Israeli ATP players Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram. We believe that it is highly inappropriate, and perhaps unlawful, for international sporting organizations to support events in regions where players are wrongfully excluded based on their national origin or, for that matter, any form of protected discrimination (religion, race etc.)

We respectfully request that the ATP and WTA assume leadership roles in guaranteeing without equivocation that international sporting events in all regions are open to all qualified participants, regardless of nationality.
