Purina is apparently endorsing the website http://cuddlypuppy.com as evidenced by their logo on the "puppy care" page, at url http://cuddlypuppy.com/puppyCare.htm. If this is true, our goal is to convince them to rethink their decision, and choose not to support this broker of puppy mills, or face the possibility of a nationwide boycott. If this is not true, then we urge Purina to insist their logo (and implied endorsment of this business) be removed immediately from this website. Furthermore, we urge Purina to issue a public apology, and to aggressively campaign for the ethical and humane treatment of animals victimized by such organizations as cuddlypuppy.com and the puppy mills that are supported by them.

I certainly do not approve of animal mills of ANY kind. However, I purchased a soft-coated wheaton terrier from cuddlypuppy.com because I wanted this particular breed of dog for me & my family. The owner of this site was named as one of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs of the year at the age of 17.

Please do not endorse a business that is based on puppy mills. Even if these puppies are raised in "homes" "with children", it is just a puppy mill in a "home" "with children". Their sole purpose is to provide enough puppies to keep this keep in business (and money in their pocket). Purina, if you need help deciding where to spend your advertising dollars, let me know. I will let you know where I shop for dog food, toys, obedience training, etc. I will let you know what animal organizations I support that would welcome your endorsement and support and would reflect on you in a good light.

I run Wild Heir Labrador Rescue.Every day I encounter unwanted Labs who are intelligent and loving animals looking for a caring home. Puppy mills, pet stores, newspaper ads, irresconsible breeders and ignorant people are waging a battle against me, responsible breeders, rescues and shelters all in the name of money. Don't endorse or support this type of behavior, Purina.

Never again will I purchase your products- I can't believe you lend your good name and reputation so cheaply to such a horrible business. I am disappointed and angered.

A shame you're advertising this sort of business. Not a good example of petcare.

Endorsing puppy brokers and puppy mills how could you? Never ever again will a penny of my money be spent on any of your products! Wouldn't your endorsements be better helping expose such terrible business practices. Shame on you.

The pet brokerage business aids and abets puppy mills. Is this what Purina endorses? I have a rescue who was a brood ***** in a puppy mill the first 3 years of her life. These animals go through unimaginable mental and physical agony. Purina, you have the resources to help educate the public against supporting puppy mills.
