in the "next-gen" launch lineup it is starting to look like Nintendo is the only company that will deliver a truly next-gen gaming platform. Compared to the Revolution, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are simply expensive upgrades to existing platforms. Nintendo "gets" it. Microsoft and Sony don't understand that a new generation of gaming machine does not automatically beget a new generation of gaming. A "next" generation requires a significant change in gaming itself. Graphics are already pretty. Sound is already awesome. Online gameplay is already fairly optimized. What's next? It seems that Nintendo just answered that question with the Nintendo Revolution. The Revolution's controller has an endless amount of gaming possibilities that aren't even remotelt possible with the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I don't expect you to get a Nintendo Revolution just from reading this, I only ask that you know what next-gen is, And isn't.

Duh, video games are supposed to be fun. The Wii and Xbox 360 are but not the PS3 (mr.graphic fanboys) The only thing to complete the Wii is Star Wars Battlefront III and more Star Wars Games!

All of nintendos games are too easy! Zelda games can be beaten in two days or less. There arent any good games for hardcore (play all day) gamers. The 360 will be a year outdated of the other consoles. And PS3 has the most North American and Japanese support where nintendo only has japanese and xbox only has NA. Dynasty Warriors isnt for Nintendo so im not getting it bcuz Koei makes the best games in the world.

I am Matt, the creator of this petition. All I wanna say is thanks to everyone out there who are finally realizing that Wii is the only true next-gen console. It's too bad though, I realized that in February and everyone else didn't realize it until after E3. Whatever, at least people are realizing it.

The WII is going to be great...the XBOX 360 is a good system, but like its been said, its just an upgrade...the PS3...well, we won't even talk about that ripoff :)

For all you PS3 and 360 fanboys, Nintendo games aren't kiddy. Just because they don't a lot of games with tons of mindless bloddy violence and crappy sex scenes doesn't make them bad. A lot of Nintendo's games are waaaay better than those mindless violent pervert games that PS2 and 360 had i.e. Grand Theft Auto. And i'll laugh my ass off when you finally realize that by the time it's too late. automatically make it babyish.

Xbox 360 and PS3 fanboys are only people that care about graphics. They don't care that a whole new way of gaming has emerged and that it costs significantly less than the Xbox 360 or PS3.

I almost feel sorry for Sony. Their very future depends on the PS3 because people aren't buying their other products because they're defective and expensive. They are having so much trouble developing the PS3. One thing is the Blu-Ray. If people aren't stunned by the graphics, Bo one will buy the PS3. But what Sony doesn't realize is that you can't just keep upgrading graphics because eventually they will look so good, That people won't be able to tell the difference between that generation and the last generation of gaming consoles. That is when Sony will finally fail. All I can say is... Good ridance.

Well you do have a point there. I never really realized that Microsoft and Sony aren't original. Plus their systems are overpriced and defective.
