I have watch the family suffer waiting for the day they can see their son/brother/grandsonagain , not knowing if that day will ever come for many reasons. Having him detained in Vietnam has not only punished Randy in ways we can only imagine but it has punished his family and loved ones more then anyone could know. Please join the family in their plea to have him returned safe so they may again live free of the fear that they will never see him again.
I support this petition BUT I in no way support the sale or the use of unlawful drugs...If this induvudual is released from the Vietnam Prison and sent back to Canada it is my belief that he should pay for the crime he has committed here on Canadain soil, no way he should get off with less than our law states is the penalty for his crime and I do believe he has committed one of the worst crimes of this era.
Randy made a big mistake, he is aware of that. He certainly does not deserve to suffer the way that he has been made to. Many young people make bad choices and live to regrett those choices and have the chance to learn from their mistakes and the opportunity to live on and they go on to be very productive citizens...Please bring Randy home to serve his sentence and give him that opportunity! He certainly does not deserve to be left to try and survive such trecherous conditions that we would not allow an animal to live through, never mind a human being!!
