Lol this is funny. I like how you have no basis or facts for your petition, you just want to petition it based on what people tell you. So let me inform you of something, not all rap if about this crap your talking about. that's like saying all black people commit crimes because 1/4 have been convicted. I could generalize punk rock and say that it's nothing but a bunch of rich kids complaining about how they got a bmw instead of a bens for their birthday but I have more integrity than that. it's a shame that you don't. Alright, time for some comments from a real musician. 1. There is quite a bit of metal out there that has more complexity and technicality to it than any rap artist has ever had, period. I study music in college, I would know. 2. When hip-hop first hit the music scene it was innovative and had some original compositions that were respectable. Now it has been ruined by mainstream coverage and extremely idiotic fans who lack honor, integrity, and any sort of form of intelligence. Anyone who bases their lives off of such pathetic things as physical appearance, wealth, and social status isn't worthy of the title human being in the first place. Before any other comments about music are made, I think that you should either state that this you simple like/dislike rap and that's your opinion, or at least have knowledge in the field of music like I have.

has its great moments in music history but those were the old days. Rap is DEAD or in serious need of a makeover. It is 99% pure garbage and I think anyone fronting as a "real nigga" is not only a bad joke but that some kids actually think it is real. I think that what music a person listens to dosen't make their charicter and all theese people talk about their kids listen to it and get influinced by it #1 why do you let your kids listen to it and #2 I listened to rap all my life and I have never been in trouble. the reason people are so freaked about the hip hop industry,s influince is beacause soccer moms and rich people don't want their kids thinking that when they get a d.u.i that its their fault. no son its the hip hops fault.
