Rayver Cruz has earned a name in showbiz. As a child star on GMA 7, many knew Rayver as, “a handsome young man with talent that would take him far”. After moving to ABS-CBN 2, Rayver was included in the boy group Anim-e. Around September-October of 2004, Rayver was given his big break as Red, the main character of the daily drama "Spirits". From his superb performances on "Spirits", Rayver was given many guestings on various programs, and a part of the Wednesday triangle (along with John Wayne Sace and Maja Salvador) on the defunct request show, MRS. Unfortunately, after the conclusion of the first book of "Spirits", Rayver's career was put on hiatus for a few months before being casted as Nathaniel on IALSA (Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin). However, he was only credited as a guest and seldom appears on the show. Together with the Anim-e, Rayver did earn a role in ASAP Fanatic of ABS-CBN. Excluding Anim-e performances, Rayver isn't given much attention on Fanatic when his loveteam, Shaina Magdayao, is absent.
