This petition is a call for Congress to Reaffirm the 2nd and 4th Amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America.

Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

*With the numerous gun laws being handed down by the Government and the Patriot Act being used in the name of "terrorism", our rights as Americans are being diminished. Disarming American Citizens will in effect, negate the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution and leave America open to all who want to harm us.

Our 4th Amendment rights are almost gone. It is time for our Elected Leaders to respond to this downward spiral of our very safety and privacy.*

I support this petition because people do not realize how important it is the we the people of the United States of America, have the right to keep and bear arms. I want to be able to defend my home and family if a situation arrises that I need to defend it. This is turning into a communist country and without everyone pulling together and STAYING together, this will become a communist state if we get the wrong person in the white house. I think everyone should go to NRA website and see what I'm talking about. Without the NRA pouring out millions of dollars we may not have our guns now! NRA, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!!!!!!

I support this petition. When our 2nd and 4th ammendments rights are completely removed, we will no longer be free. Give us back our rights that the Founding Fathers gave us in the Constitution. They would be appalled at what the liberals and enemies of the United States have done to our liberties. It is time the general public revolt and take back those rights prescribed in the beautiful old Constitution - while yet there is still time.
