"reality" shows add to the downfall of society - a society thats already fucked up. only an idiot lacking self-worth (or gradification in other interests) would find it amusing. Who wants to watch self-absorbed high-schoolers prance around like wannabe celebrities? or a former child star danny imitate the mentality of a high-school girl?(VH1, i kno...) ANDY M. is a show that belongs on a really BAD version of WTTW... only a 3 yr old would find it REMOTEly amusing. "Reality" tv shows and the people they feature scream "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME(-no matter how sad and pathetic i may be)!" and like LOSERS, we watch! stations give us what we want. if people werent watching, it wouldnt b such a huge fad. Now that everyone and his brother is addicted to at least one "reality"(pity) show, it will be hard to convince others. however, a ban will be great step forward for society as well as americas youth - even if they dont like it. i know i sound like im 40, but im really 20... AND IM PISSED! I WANT MY FUCKING MTV! MUSIC VIDEOS! ARTISTS! what happened to ART in MUSIC?! im sick of EVERY video being a snoop-dog wannabe featuring bootylicious girls. (as you can tell im female) i dont MIND it at all, just not all the time. and now i cant even watch THAT! NOw i turn it on and i see uninteresting FAKE losers living uninteresting lives.
