As a state we can't spend more than we take in. Telling us she has reduced spending while using Base Line Budgeting is misleading the people. Most citizens are unaware of this budgeting plan used by the State and Federal bureaucracy. Ask them how they reduced spending when the state budget has increased from 39 billion 4 years ago to 44.5 billion today and we have lost 10% of our sates population.
As a 23 year old female, poverty level income citizen, this state has absolutely nothing to offer anymore. There is no room for growth or improvement for people of my generation. It is more beneficial to pack a tent and some food and hitch hike across the country, than to stay here and try and make a life and a living.

Part of the governors job is to balance the budget. She has failed miserably and has the gall to speak of past governors after a full term. It should be mandated that she give back part of her salary for the state being blown away!
Governor has done nothing for Michigan tax payers and has helped herself and her major campaign contributors.We need someone who cares about the State and is active in the stabilization of Michigan and then rebuilding our fragile economy. This is a Governor whose campaign was based on why Devos should not be the Governor instead of her plans for Michigan. The whole time denying the Michigan voters the truth about having to raise taxes because she couldn't balance a budget in 4 years. It's called cutting your over head.
