Our budget is out of balance because our high taxes and regulation are driving away businesses and people who pay them. So what does the state of michigan do? RAISES TAXES! The shutdown should have been permanent. No state level taxes would be a sure way to jump start the economy. All her policies have done is made things worse.
The sooner the better. My family owns a business, but thanks to Granholm I'm not sure how much longer we will be able to stay open.
