I ask That I be allowed to again serve our country. I was having some problems when I was in due to lack of motivation and determination. I went in at 17 to get out of foster care because I didn't turn 18 until 6 months later. So therefore I was going to have to stay in foster care. The only wat out was to join the military. Now mind you I loved every bit of what I did but my heart and mind wasn't in the frame of where I needed to be. I still had some growing to do and maturing to go through. I ended up going awol towards the middle of my AIT and turned myself in a month later. I Now am 21 and regret ever doing it. I miss the military more than anything and wish to return. My only problem is I have a felony also and screwed up. The only way I would feel fit in truly changing my ways would to get out of the area and group of friends I have associated myself with. It waws a felony for dealing weed. Ungraded felony. I also have and re-code of 4. Is there any way that I can get some help. I'll do anything for a second chance to make something of my life while I'm still young and have a chance. Can anyone out there assist me?
