I have been a fam of Rand's for the last 8 years. The suspension was uncalled for in light of the fact that this was OFF the air. We do demand, with all due respect, Randi's reinstatement.
Since I can't hear Randi Rhodes any more, I might as well cancel my AAR Premium membership. Sam is fine, but I subscribed to the podcast for Randi. Next step is to start calling advertisers and ask them to stop advertising on AAR.
While I don't condone the comments that Ms. Rhodes made, the punishment seems a bit excessive. I hope she will be allowed back on the air soon, because I am a fan of her program and believe that America needs more voices like hers.

This is pure censorship. As a San Diegan who is no longer able to listen to Randi except on the internet, whoever made this decision, must work for Clear Channel. Just admit it and be done with it. I LOVE RANDI> BRING HER BACK!!!!
I guess the bosses at Air America forgot what Freedom of Speech means.She didn't say the stuff on the job. She was at an event. So she didn't violate any laws or rules that the Federal Censorship Commision came up with to suppress Freedom of Speech.
I was present at the event for which Randi Rhodes was suspended. Her appearance was as an entertainer, not as a talk show host. In standup routines, it is usual for incendiary comments to be made. I think AirAmerica officials are overreacting in a major way to the comments Randi made in her 15-minute appearance to support Green 960.
What part of free speech does Air America not understand. Their shortsighted action may help snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We want our Randi back on the air!
I had great hope and support for Air America when it was launched - and now, this same network is censoring its most prolific and talented host? What???OK, perhaps Randi's language was a bit over the top, but then again, I can understand WHY she was so passionate about expressing her views. I was once a Queen Hillary supporter, but have become extremely concerned about much of her corporate support, the mistruths and outright lies she has utilized against Obamna, and in generally, at this point, is sinking the Democratic party into a morass. Yes, I support Hillary's right to remain in the race, but it has become clear that she is fanatically devoted to her own political ambitions, and less in what is the best path for this country.Even party insiders are telling her in plain terms, that she is causing more harm than good for staying in the race.AirAmerica, by silencing Randi, is making a very wrong move, in my humble opinion.Please reconsider this decision
I have been a Premium member since you adopted that rig. I had subscribed to Sirius , to be sure I'd never miss Randi and others. When the XM exclusive started, I had to purchase equipment and subscribe to XM.When Dave Oreck advertised on AAR, I bought 3 products from him and told them why -for his support of AAR. I have purchased lots of AAR swag too. I feel like should have some say in this heinous deed. I called the Teamsters to tell them how unhappy I am about this lifekilling deprivation you have cast upon me and millions of listeners all over the world. END THIS TRAVESTY TODAY!Thankyou

Even without the aid of the FCC, since there was no broadcast and Randi was speaking in a closed theater as a stand-up entertainer, a progressive institution takes it as it's duty to silence another progressive voice. The psychosis continues and the person at the top has enough money to back it up.
I've listened to Air America for over 4 years now. Randi Rhodes led me as a young man naturally conservative to understand, comprehend and shape my views of the issues facing our nation today. Randi Rhodes is Air America and developed a strong relationship with her listeners, always remained fair, always went the extra mile to provide resources and maintain that level of high quality relationship. She is a wonderful representative for Air America and you need her. We need her. Bringing her back will get you as much attention to offset any possible negative consequences.
