A long time fan, I saw the TFA show at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in '73 when I was 16. Bought a copy of the LP as soon as it was released and have long since lost it. I'd love to own a copy on CD so please release it! "Back in Canada I spent my days, riding subways in a haze..."
Don't you think it's time to release this on CD? I don't even own a turntable any longer, so I can't listen to my original Time Fades Away LP any longer.
(Doncaster, UK)
On The Beach is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard; I can't help thinking I'm missing out having not heard Time Fades Away. Please release it!
love neil-still got my copy of TFA and need it replaced-Was at Rainbow 5 nov 1973 ater buying two tickets from touts with my mate Rob-boy were we confused 15 year olds!
Neil, this album may recall a difficult time for you, but it's music that your fans still want to have be a part of their lives, even after three decades. Hopefully that demonstrates the quality of this music and will help persuade you and WB/Reprise to release this again. I've had the album since high school and love it to death; I'd love to have it on CD as well, so please put it out!
I "grew" up with that superb album. My brother bought it in 1973, and I always have to hear it. So..come Neil, and release this one. For me. My brother died last year but an hour before he died, he played music from good old Neil. I am anxious to have this one on cd.
Neil, I have never in my life ben able to hear this whole album (in contrast to other people here, my father didn't have a sense of good music), please release it, I'm getting bloody curious...
Guelph, Ontario, Canada. This is my second favorite Neil Young album after "Everybody Knows..." and it kills me that the only version I have is a CD-R ripped from the vinyl. Please please please release this one for real.
It may not be perfect, but it's perfectly real. An honest timepiece from a changing era. Please release it so that I can finally retire my turntable once and for all. Roland Goetz.
My sister bought this album for me for Christmas just a couple of years ago because she knows what a huge Neil Young fan I am, only problem is I hate to play it because I know that every time I do it's just wearing it out more and more! We all need this released on CD!!!
