-=Come On, Neil RELEASE TFA NOW:
TIME FADES AWAY was a very nervous album. And that's exactly
where I was at on that tour. If you ever sat down and listened to my
records, there'd be a place for it in there. Not that you'd go there
every time you wanted to enjoy some music, to me, is like an ongoing
autobiography. I can't write the same book evertime. There are
artist that can. They put out three or four albums every year, and
everything fucking sounds the same...
-Neil Young 1977
I had just come off a relationship and "The Bridge" was particularly resonant at the time, as much as "Don't Be Denied" and "Times Fades Away" rocked. C'mon, Neil, give us another shot at this masterpiece.
I would really like to be able to listen to this on CD after all these years. I used to listen to it "constantly" when younger. A very important album to me.
The world needs more AUTHENTIC music.Neil Young is as authentic as they come.Who knows, maybe this albumn will inspire some youth into producing the next generation of Rock N Roll? My MY Rock N Roll will never die!
Time fades away is and has been my favorite album by Neil Young please release it on CD so more people can enjoy it and so people like me who have it on an old record can listen to it in a better quality format. Wake up, Wake up....
I'm pretty sure this is a decision Neil Young has to make. I hope he will take the time to remaster this important part of his work. I know it comes from a painful time in his life, and so it must be hard to revisit it with the care necessary to remaster it properly. I hope he manages to do it somehow anyway.
I found Time Fades Away on cd together with the unreleased Chrome Dreams release and quite honestly, the sound quality is horrible. So, I found a crisp vinyl copy and used my AUDIO CD RECORDER and couldn't be happier. Would be willing to forward a copy to those of you who are without.
this nervous and outstanding lp has to be released on cd....I was happy with "On The Beach" and "American Stars 'n' Bars" on 2003, and in in 2003 it was already too late...COME ON NEIL!
I once recorded "Decade" on a cassette tape. I thought I would fill the tape up with a couple songs fromT"ime Fades Away". I ended up recording the whole album because I couldn't decide what not to put on the tape. I am just a real Neil Young fan. I have seen this album On CD. I believe it was an import, in music store in La Crosse, WI.
Great album...despite the unusual recording and mastering of this album in the 1970's, I think that Neil's fans won't mind the clicks and pops from the acetate.
Release The CD Reprise!! I've been a Neil Young fan for over 25 years now. By Far one of the very best Neil's work. It's a darn shame that some pencil pusher is keeping this timeless recording away from some of Neil's most loyal fans.
I love this album. I have bought several copies on vinyl for friends. Some, including me, consider this Neil's best album. PLEASE RELEASE THIS ON CD!!!!!
Own it on cassette tape. One of my first Neil purchases 20 years ago. Fantastic! Not a weak song on the album. Title track is still my album favorite.
Please release it on CD neil, my tape won't hold out much longer
I understand there's some sound quality problems with the master recording, but I think I speak for everyone here when I say we'd be willing to put up with the imperfections.
