Neil has thown away (really just never released) more good shit than most groups/people have ever made. This is turning out to be one of them. Like just about all of his stuff, on this live album he's right in there with a nerve exposed adding salt and tequila. It's a scarey record, one of the best live ones ever because it's real. Not a fucking review.
Not my proudest moment in life, but at the age of 17, I got caught speeding and driving under the influence while rocking out to this album. Not the album you'd expect to put the 'pedal to the metal' but for some fans of this album, I think they know where I was "in my head" and why I was racing to this CD.
hey kids! every time i go see neil i say to myself were are all these people in real life? well i sorta found them this is great the first time i saw neil was in jan.of 1973 at msg the garden.we slept in my van all night tickets at ticketmaster,it worked close floor seats right over the ice.anyhow i guess it was about 5th song in and i was dont be denied it was then that i became a real rusty! now i'me an old rusty, dont worry tfa will come out, when he's ready
If Tonight's "The Night" was remastered and released on CD, why not this one, too? This music gets under your skin in the most delicious way.Neil's "haunting" material, such as on "Tonight's," "Time Fades, and "On The Beach" is particularly special, because the lyrics and melodies seep into your soul and cleanse your spirit, somehow. My recollection of my old vinyl copy (purchased in a cut-out bin and not played for probably the last ten years) is that the sound quality was a bit murky. A clean digital remastering would be mighty refreshing. Please forget the payday, for a second. The fans who have purchased record albums, CDs, and concert tix for Neil these past thirty-five years would really appreciate this a lot. Thanks, Neil!

The Record Exchange in Salem, MA thought this was already released on CD. I've been looking for TFA CD for a couple years though not hard enough to check out the Internet until now. This was one of those seminal post sixties record albums. My second favorite to Neil's On the Beach recording from the same period. OTB is on CD if anyone is curious. For all I know this petition is a Reprise Records project but who cares if means seeing this classic on the shelves by year's end.
Neil, i have recently become a very big fan. I believe this album should be released to the people because it's a period in your own life that the good majority of your fan can relate to.So please Neil, i ask, please release "Time Fades Away"
Anything that has been released on vinyl should also be released on what ever the current standard is, providing there is some demand for it. I think this petition should prove that demand is there. C'mon, Reprise and Neil, let it happen!
