While I like Steve Wynn's version of time fades Away (fron the tribute record), it would be nice to hear Neil's origianl version , which I haven't heard in years and years !
Of course every Neil Young recording should be released on disk. We still have our vinyl here at the old folks' home, but it's time the young'uns got to hear what music is really supposed to be about.
Releasing this record would be a great way to combat what is so wildly popular today. It may not make as much money as whatever is currently trendy but it's the right thing to do.

Dear Mr. Young.
My old copy is seldom reaching the turntable, and besides itīs troublesome playing lpīs in the car.
Thanks for the signed Greendale Book. I really enjoy it.
Danish fan at 54.
I received TFA from my older brother as a Christmas gift in 1973. Time wasn't kind to the LP... Please release!
Signed, a fellow Canadian who thinks YOU, Neil, are the BEST.
Neil is our R-n-R living legend and he has pioneered the path for many bands of today. Release it, give the people what they want, Especially if its "vintage neil".
Neil, I don't care if you release this or not, because everyone must do what he feels is right in his heart. Just wanted to say, please forgive yourself for what happened to Whitten. You had mentioned that you had felt bad about capitalizing on the deaths of four at Kent in writing "Ohio". Perhaps you feel that way as well with regard to Whitten's death and the re-release of Time. Whatever the case, I hope you forgive yourself. You are a deep thinker with much to give. My prayers are with you.
Excellent album that more than deserves to be on CD. It's an essential part of Neil Young's discography, especially since it's part one of the Ditch Trilogy. "Don't Be Denied" is great, and "LA" is the dark side sequel to "Out on the Weekend." Great stuff!
Thirty-some year after seeing the TFA tour, I still find myself singing "Don't Be Denied" on a regular basis although I can't get beyond the second verse, in large part because my vinyl copy was destroyed by accident long ago. TFA should definitely be released on CD ASAP. It ain't the prettiest album goin' but it is one of the toughest. Neil's fight with the Gibson Flying V is well worth hearing, bum notes and all. Neil, please dont deny your adoring fans this opportunity.

Live Music is the best Music! Specially when it'S played by Neil Young ;)
So please publish this album !I'm only 29 years old,so I mist the good old time !That's why I need to have the TFA on CD !!!!!!!!!!!!
Music is truth, and withholding truth is wrong. If this becomes a CD, its piracy will dminish, and people will have much greater access to it. Please, it's the only sensible thing to do. Don't let purists living in the past wreck the future of music.
this is obviously an important part of any collection of Neil Young, and it would be a shame to deprive real fans of it in later generations. It also seems to be an important album in the development of music that came after it, and so merits a place in the collection of anyone who truly cares about music.
I am not the oldest fan, the newest fan, or probably even the biggest of Neil's fans, but his music has shaped my life like no-one else's has. I want all the recordings I can get.
Neil fan since 1969, I was just out of high school and listening to TFA with headphones every night laying in bed at night. It fit well into my late teens lifestyle. This was where Neil was at and if he puts it out on CD, I hope it DOESN'T get remixed! RAW & REAL! LA, Don't Be Denied, & Last Dance were standouts. Please Neil, we're all getting on ! That live version of "Last Trip To Tulsa" would be a nice bonus track!
My mother bought a copy of this in the 1970s and hated it. It sat, in mint condition, in our attic for 25 years until I found it and fell in love with it. Frustrated that I couldn't get it on CD, I finally picked it up as a bootleg. It is the one and only bootleg I own, and I would be relieved to trash it for a legitimate CD version. Please release it - I'll buy a copy that very day, plus another for my mom! Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
Had this album on 8-track & will never forget my 3 year old daughter singing the chorus in the back seat of my "73"VW.Often wondered why I could never find a replacement on CD.This is STUPID!
Release time fades away and all other pertinent archival material before we all get to old to hear and in some cases see it properly. Hope your health is back to par Neil. Thanks for all the mindblowing jams over the years and thanks for making the musical part of my life more complete. cnm
