And they wonder why people download music "illegally"? Release it, we'll buy it, we'll be happy and you'll make some dollars!! It can't be that hard can it?
Neil Young, March, 1973
Denver Colosieum
This was my FIRST concert !
Linda Ronstadt opened.
Crosby walked on.
From up on the side seats we couldn't see well, but it didn't matter. The banks of loudspeakers rolled waves of smoke off stage & back toward the crowd .... we were "in heaven, man" ...... I had no expectations, and it turned out to be only one of the most fabulous experiences of my young life ...... Later (from the LP title) I learned that it had been the 'Time Fades Away' tour ...... i bought the record when it was released, I still have it & my ticket stub.......... i haven't listened to it in decades, but i think i'll dig it & my turntable out & take another spin, perhaps rip it to iTunes so that i can regularly return to 'Don't Be Denied' and 'LA'........ "dont'cha wish that you could be here too?" ........... Re-release TFA, please ....... live recordings don't get more real than this one ........ Peace
Maybe a bas memory for Neil. The album does excist and some morrons are making a lot of money for the fans who would like to own it.
Please release it!
I don't know if I'll be buying music in my late sixties. If they (all archives) wait too long they'll lose their audience.
"Oh friend of mine, don't deny me".
I was there!
San Diego Sports Arena, song: "Last Dance".
What a concert and Graham Nash took the stage with him.
I've got the vinyl so it looks like I will have to transfer. I have all the "Ditch Trilogy" series in vinyl.

the album that came after his most commercially sucessful, and before his most harrowing... thats gotta be worth re-issuing. the gaps it will fill for new young fans, and the memories it will rekindle for the old, makes it absolutely essential. this album cannot disappear.
this is the best album of neil young Ive ever heard.my one and only record is on its last leg.I am 43 and havea son 24 that loves this album and has been serching for a copy.relesethis again and put a smile on many fans that crave to hear this best record ever
Now's the time to step up to the mark and live up to your name REPRISE, before time does indeed fade away, along with THE ONES WHO WILL BUY IT IF YOU RELEASE IT.
The biography "Shakey" states this was far ahead of its time in its "raggedy-ass nakedness" and a big inspiration for REM's recording "New Adventures in Hi-Fi"
There should be no missing pieces to the puzzle. All of the library should be released. Once you gave it to us, it can't be taken away. My "if you could only take one artist's music with you on a deserted island" choice is obvious, but I want it all, please.
i used to have this on vinyl back on the eighties, its an awesome album and should be on cd......we should not be denied time may fade away ,but this album shouldnt
hurry and release this one. my cassette copy is getting worn out from constant play. the best neil albums are the ones least popular inthe mainstream. this is one for hardcore neil fans.
you know when you do something and you don't want to be reminded of it, well, TFA feels like one of theose moments. But the things is that many of us know all about it, having it on vinyl.
I remember the personal challenge it set me because I was equally drawn and repulsed by the album at the time of its release. Much of my negativity was due to poor reviews in the music press. I though, "how could Neil make such sloppy music?" But then I found I could listen to it and relate to it in some strange way.
since the day I lost my turntable I've not heard TFA but can still sing them all.
Go on, make us all happy, relealse TFA. You know it makes sense.
