I have an original copy of "Time Fades Away". I can't imagine why it was yanked-especially, with everything that is broadcasted and recorded-both the media and music industries are crying the amendment game, in order to produce anything . It needs to be released!
C'mon Neil... You have so many fans that have followed you down through the years and want to have all your music on cd... not just what you consider to be the best.
Release not JUST Time Fades Away but everything.
hey, it sounds really raw, all the musicians sound like they re drunk, and neil like he was beaten up by all the joks from quebec,...i love it man, it´s rock and roll, and it shows how things where going at that time with their lifes, with their music, it shows how bulnerable an artist can be and it´s another prove of neil´s commitment with his music and soul, thatñs why young continues rocking like in 73
in my opinion, time fades away is one of the greatest NY albums, is bueutiful, is raw, and full of deep feelings. Also, is unique because is teh only live album i know that contains songs not available in other sources.
please re-release on cd it!!!!
I was in the Army when Harvest came out. It was cool but I bought it
mostly because of Neil's association with Buffalo Springfield and the song
Cinnamon Girl from his first album. I bought Time Fades Away as an automatic
buy at that time in my life. The first time I listened to it I didn't know
what to make of it. Being in the Army and not having a lot of albums to
listen to, I gave it a few more listens and began to realize how great this
guy was. This is the album that really hooked me on Neil Young. Tonight's
The Night which came out next fit right in with this album. This is one of
the Albums that I lost in the chaos of my first divorce. I never thought it
would take this long to come out on CD but this article explains some of the
technical reasons why it hasn't. But I think the real reason is Neil just
doesn't like it. I think it hits too close to home for him.
i became a neil young fan two years ago...and i want to own all his albums...i don't have a record player...and certain records are hard to find..it isn't fair to his newest fans if we can't get all the neil that's been released...it ain't our fault we weren't there when he was in his prime...so i think it's the right thing to do
I bought this album in high school, a time when Neil's music became a real influence and inspiration, as it continues to be today; however, it's been years since I've been able to listen to the record. Please release this on CD so that we can again enter into and enjoy this unique collection.
