As far as whole albums go, this is my favorite, right next to Greendale. But please hurry, I don't know how many more times my cassette can withstand scotch tape repairs!

time fades away is despite it's poor recording , a sublime emotional record and must get a remastered re issue on cd together with journey through the past , and i am from belgium
my father tells me that this is his favorite album of all time. during 1977, after his best friend killed himself, he was living in a small apartment by himself with no tv and only a cheap record player and spent the entire winter listening to time fades away every night. this album means alot to alot of people. i would really like to here this album, my whole family loves neil and embrace him as the most effective guitar player ever.
i'm a portuguese fan of Mr.shakey, and he's been an inspiration for me, not only in tearms of his art and quality of his songs, but also in his coherent career and principles.hey, hey, my, my, rock n roll will never die!
I was so stupid to sell all my albums--all my Neil Young albums too--including Time Fades Away--in the early 80s when I was an impoverished college student. I've gotten all that music back in some form or another--except for this gloriously raw and ragged classic.

It took me a long time to understand Tonight's the Night; once I did, it made it into my Desert Island albums pretty quickly. When On the Beach came out on CD, I was psyched. According to my computer, I've played it 60 times since then and that's not counting playing it in my car. It's awesome--another island album. Please, Neil, let us have the third in the ditch trilogy.
My father was at the concert in Seattle that one of the songs on the album was recorded at. The concert went from nine to two in the morning and my father says it was the greatest convert he has ever seen. I have seen Niel Young and have the Time Fades Away album but the problem is all need to hear in my opinion Neil Young's very best album. Please release your best album Neil and let all hear the best music ever.
I"ve been looking for this cd for ever not knowing that it is being unjustly held back from neil young/music fans everywhere!!! Turn it loose, it belongs to the people!!!
Please, please, please put this out on CD. It truly IS the Holy Grail of Neil Young records. I've been waiting for years for the release, wondering what's up.
In this day and age, it would only be appropriate to release this album. I'd think that N.Y. would have to consider it to be important to all his fans!
