I've been waiting for the release of this LP on CD for ages. When I bought the CD of 'On the Beach', I thought the time was ripe and the long wait nearly over. Too bad. Please, do something about it!
On the Beach and Time Fades Away are Neil's best albums- period. I have a vinyl copy burned on CD, but its hissy and poppy- WE NEED A MASTERED CD COPY, PLEASE!!!!
I just started listening to Neil young recently. Very quick I devoured one album after another becoming more and more 'a fan'. Very naively I have looked for this album in record stores on CD before stumbling on this web-site. Please release this album on CD to still my hunger.
neil young has my vote. I love the man. he has faced the trials and endured. he is an inspiration and will only grow in his capacity to inspire and love his world wide family.prarie wind is a masterwork as was time fades away. It has my vote
I bought this album at a record store a long time ago when i first got into Neil Young, i was probably about 15. It sat in my record collection for a long time until I one day listened to it and discovered its greatness. I dont need it to be released again but everyone that doesnt own a copy should have one. Please release it for the people who love and respect the life and music of Neil Young.
This is one of my top five Neil Young albums and I'm lucky enough to still have my vinyl copy from the 70s. "Don't Be Denied" is one of his greatest songs and deserves to find a new audience.
In 1975 I bought a "vinyl"Time Fades Away" which had a punched hole in the corner of the album cover. I have never been able to obtain a cassette or CD copy of this; at one point I'd sold or given away all my LP's, getting them on CD or cassettes. I was shocked to learn that Time Fades Away was not available in those formats. How I wish I could get my hands on a copy of Time Fades Away; I was especially "haunted" by Don't Be Denied" Please release this amazing album on CD, please, please, please! I've owned "Time Fades Away" since it was new. The album is almost as worn and beat as I am. C'mon release it on CD! We both need to be rejuvinated! - Connecticut, USA
I have a copy of Times Fades Away, but it of very poor quality. My ex left it outside in a crate, along with other albums, all of which are warped or moldy, yet they play. A great, if not, the greatest album in my collection
I cherish this on vinyl, even burned one down to CD for the car, scratches and all. I also wish he would also finally release the movie "Journey Through The Past" C'Mon Neil, these two releases blow away RE A C TOR!!! and the Buffalo Springfield Box set's "bonus" extra 4th disc which are the first 2 records us fans all already have owned for 15 years.
