By demading (pinch of salt) that this record be released in this manner, by saying 'hey look how many people wanna buy this thing,' is just the motivation needed by any artist worth their salt not to. Art is truth. And so was Time Fades away. When it was first released. I take it from quotes that Mr. Young feels that the truth of that moment no longer exists?

Come on, Reprise! You did the right thing with On The Beach. TFA might not be quite as brilliant (although the best bits - don't be denied, last dance, love in mind - do come close), but it certainly deserves to be available again. Plus my old vinyl copy is getting scratchy....
