Never was an artist's complete catalog so crucially underrepresented in the marketplace as Neil Young. It has taken far too long to see this record become readily available to the modern listener. It is a triumph of the will and demands a legacy release.
TFA is an album for the ages. I want a new copy for my children to hear as my copy is too scratched up to share any longer.I support this petition. For we know time and rust never sleeps. TYM
I support this petition. Hey Neil, time does indeed fade away so how about releasing TFA while we're all still around to savor it? I'm aging rapidly but I'll always be "Young at heart"!
I guess I don't think it matters whether TFA is released again or not. What I mean is that for anyone who's ever heard it, it's there in it's entirety, like a watermark in paper, imprinted in the whole cloth of the lives we're leading. How many times have you overheard something or experienced something or just been driving in your car with the radio off and it simply comes to you: "Oh friend of mine, don't be denied..." or "Woke up this morning with Love in mind..." or "Don't you wish that you could be here, too?" It doesn't matter if you heard this album last week or 30 years ago, if you've heard it, it's a part of you and the echoes always return. The number one reason this simply has to be released despite all that: Everyone who gives a damn and hasn't had a chance to hear it yet.
Even if Neil is not happy with this recording we, the fans, would still like to be able to hear this album, as it represents a crucial time in Neil's developement.
Neil your music has to reach as many people as possible. As a 19 year old, I can say that all my friends see you as the greatest songwriter of all time. Thanks for everything and release this album on cd!!!
