because I'm a long time Young afficionado and student. I've never heard the album but a pal had a copy at college in the 1970's which I never got to tape... And you guys are making such a thing of it, it must be bloody good. I would also like to see the orig Harvest sheet music album come back to print with all it's country "hand written" score.
I support this petition... because time fades away and this album and it's too good to suffer the same fate...because (with all due respect to the following) Greg says it should be out there to complete the picture...because Kevin says they need to hear what a REAL artist sounds like...because of Jim's Neil Young Martin Guitar collection...because Aikdoctor says it's a Fantastic album owned on vinyl...because Nick says he wakes up with love in mind...and so on and so forth.............
I support this petition because I found in Neil Young's music an expression for some of my own emotions at the time. please release this album!! (and thanks, Neil - if you ever read this)
Because "You can never have too many Neil Young CDs out there!" A genius and a Canadian Too! Hey, I live in Alberta, Canada and Neil Young and the Squires played at my High School graduation in Winnipeg in the 1960s!
This record was rugged, disjointed and loose, the same way neil felt at the time. it bridges ''tonight's the night'' and ''on the beach'' quite well, i think so anyway. and while you're at it, bring back ''journey through the past'' as well. PLEASE!!
I support this petition. I've been a fan since Harvest was released in the 70's and I was hooked. My vinal copy of Time Fades Away is getting pretty worn.
I support this petition i am new to his work and have loved every second of everything he has ever made and have heard the stories of this and would love to hear it!
I support this petition.come on neil, let us have it........from "bufalo springfield" to "Heart of gold" i have loved and made your songs part of my life...
I've been listening to Neil's music since the mid-60s and he is still my favorite artist. I'd like to be able to hear the songs from Time Fades Away again.
I think it's a travesty this album has not been released on CD yet. Like "Tonight's The Night", it is beautiful noise! It may be NY's least favourite, but my old vinyl copy is getting kinda hard to hear...hard enough to find on vinyl up here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...
I have this album twise on vinyl. Once, when I found it used in Laguna Beach. Second, from a boxed set of Neil Young albums I bought in the 80s. My father is fading away as we speak and I can think of no better tribute than a re-release of this album on CD.
