I liked this album from my first listen, believe it or not. I was a college student who favored smoking pot on weekends and running and bicycling and soccer during the week...after school
I can't tell you how much this album meant to me when I was 18. Now I'm 45 and I need it. My kids want to hear it. And my lp is worn out. Besides, I don't have a record player anymore. C'mon, please release it already.
as someone fortunate enough to have been able to follow Neil's wonderful music from the very beginning to today, i have always felt the best way to pay tribute to his genius was to be able to have his music to pass on to my children and grand-children--please let me be able to add this album --it is essential
Everything I have known Neil Young to sing about are the facts. He does not colour coat the facts. Please let this man share his beliefs. Freedom of Speech!!
Picked up "Time Fades Away" on 8-track back in '75 from a discount music bin for $1 and has been one of my favorites since. No idea what happened to that tape (it'd be long since worn out by now anyhow) but've been missing it now for years, so please bring it back!
I've never heard it and I've dutifully bought everything you've put out over the years. My first two albums ever when I was a little kid were The Monkees and Harvest, but somehow along the way, I missed this one. I'd love to own it.
because I view this lp as your "blood on the tracks" and it should be heard by everyone. A cd version would be nice for the car and my 13 year old daughter who thinks those big discs in the jackets are stupid!
How much did you get for that UK vertigo swirl black sabbath lp dad?
Come on Neil, quit making petty protest albums and release the good stuff. This is one of your top three records. I would buy like 50 of these on cd just to know I had it. Keep on rockin in the free world!
I checked this album out from my local library shortly after it was released - played it constantly for a week and dutifully returned it, hoping to check it out the following day. Next day it was checked out and after several visits, found out that it was snuck out and never returned! Picked it up yesterday on vinyl at Orpheus Records in Arlington, VA.
