turntables are scarce, and this album is even scarcer. As copies get passed from person to person on eBay (where I got mine) they get degraded. I just heard this record for the first time, and it's one of the best ... ever ... by anyone.

It's one of the tragedies of the history of rock that this ragged & intense masterpiece (in the same vein as the Basement Tapes) still hasn't been released on CD yet. To quote the title to one of your songs, Neil, c'mon, "Bite the Bullet" and release TFA on CD. We're all dying to get it legit, and meanwhile it goes out on eBay auctions for as much as $100!!! Doesn't that bother you, Neil?
