I was there. Seattle Wa. Linda opened and looked very hot. David Crosby was introduced and it took ten minutes for him to find the stage. I bought this album the day it was released.
When this live album was released, it made me want to pick up the guitar and learn how to play along to "L.A." and "Don't Be Denied". It's a damn shame that this recording is not available in LP re-print and/or CD.

Although I haven't had the pleasure of hearing the music, Neil Young is a force on the musical artscene, who reflects the views of a great part of humanity and should therefore be made available to the general public
This album represents Neil at his raw best! However, we all must realize that Neil does what he wants when he wants, and when he thinks the 'time' is right he will do the right thing and release it. He will not let this masterpiece 'fade away.'
With the Johnny Cash explosion of interest and general interest among young people for historically significant music, this has to be put on CD. It till pay for itself. Please!
These "dark trilogy" LPs defined my adolescence. I kept the torch going by constructing a small cardboard coffin containing 13 red roses from my mother's garden and a calligraphied card with the message "Time Fades Away." The hexagon-shaped coffin, carefully painted black and lined with silver foil, was hoisted onstage by the crowd just before the Rust Never Sleeps filming in San Francisco (alas, the Road Eyes carted it off...) Neil, I know that time can't make your love fade away. Bring it on back!
I would love to have this album in my collection. I am a BIG FAN of Neil's and have been lucky to have seen him 3 times. On July 24 will be the fouth at the Savemart Center in fresno, CA. with Crosby, Stills, & Nash. Kicked out some bucks for 3rd row seats.........
