If thay remade them i thick they should add more war in it like EIP I, II and III and they should put yoda in EIP IV and better fights in it like bettween obe be wan and darth vader which was the worst fight in the whold series and i do support this
I Think that as the original trilogy was grat back in the nineties a newer and more hi tech version would be better. No change in the story board but better graphics. And also to continue with the actors that were used in the newer star wars films.
Yeah, definitely should remake them, considering the storylines don't match from some aspects, and Yoda should have been in episode IV! It was good but would have been better with Yoda...

Hell yeah, I am old enough to remember the original (I saww them all on first release) But the new ones look TOO CLEAN AND NEW, he needs to remake the original to fit it. I will DEFINATELY see them and buy them on DVD HD-DVD BLUERAY OR WHATEVER THEY HAVE.
No Geoge won't remake them becuase it costs money and he's getting plenty of that at the moment from the re-issued trilogy DVD's. And he'll get more when he releases the anamorphoic versions sometime next year too

If you guys can do this i will faint, out of everything i like star wars is the geekiest thing, but i love it, and it would be the coolest thing if the original trilogy was remade
its wierd becasue i watched alll of thwem together and they go from jumping around and amazing fights then to the originals, which dont really match up.
i think lucas could profit from this very much and the fans of the movies will get to see these movies in line with modern graphics and techniques. he would have to choose the cast very carefully though.
I am a huge fan of the original movies but i do think that the flavour of the new films didnt quite match over to the old ones purely because of the times so i think people should still have the original but i think remaking the trilogy would be interesting just to see how much george lucas improves on his original ideas and perhaps rectify a few misleading facts that dont add up together however if this be done then they shud really make sure they have a solid and memorable cast because that is what made the original trilogy so enjoyable.
they should remake the original series because thier are so many more possibilities today on CGI. The Star Wars made almost 30 years ago did have great effects, dont get me wrong but after the three recently made I think it would be a much GREATER triogly considering you could have the same people in the first three, apart of the last three. I think it would be a great money maker and it would be a great infulence on new fans.
This is an epic event worthy only of george lucas. While I will miss the original actors; Mark Hamil, Harison Ford, ect. I too will also enjoy the 'reimaged' star wars, as the technology for this, George Lucas' original vision, is now posible. While both sides of this have marit, I support this petition. P.S. Actually I don't siupport it, this is the worst idea, leave well enough alone, it's bad enough he had to create the chharacter Jar Jar Binks. The 1st Trilogy needs to be left alone. As they say if it's not mbroken don't fix it.
I support this petition. There are too many errors in terms of storyline consistancy. Lucas obviously had different plans for starwars when he did the original movie 30 years ago.
I would like to see a new "re-imagined" starwars, not merely a remake. The original starwars trilogy is a great stand alone series. But has little in common with the latest eps.

I support this petition because I many things may be better concect if the new trilogy, with remake of original. For exemple... explain how surges the rebelion, the duel if Obi Wan wiht Darth Vader may be refers the episode III, and obvious, the duel is more massive them episode IV. And of corse, greats battles much more massives, like sTar destroyer vs rebel cruser, but without much inovation in desing of ships, repet X-wing, A-wing, T-wing, y-wing, like Iies to!

as much as all star wars fans would like the O.T to be remade it just can't happen.George Lucas wanted it to be this way,he wanted to make the first 3 episodes spectacular that's why he waited to do them in the future when there was better technology for the special effects.the old trilogy is excellent in spite of different casting and effects,the old generation doesn't want it to be replaced.I think it should stay this way
