There are plenty of reasons to remake the OT. Then it wouldn't only be worth to watch them for the emotional part, but also for the action-filled part. For example: if the attack of the Death Star in ep. IV would be made like the excellent mass scenes in ep. II, there would be a lot more realism and fun in them. The lightsaber fights would also be much better. But there should be clear references to the OT, just to keep the genuine Star Wars spirit alive.
I know that many people think the 70s star wars were the best but i think this is only because they were original during that time. It would be much better if remakes are made so people like me who have never seen the original ones but saw first the new trilogy can enjoy also the original storyline. And if remakes are made try to keep same actors.
The Guys who were making the light saber sceens for Episode I said "The reason the first light saber was slow was because you had an old man obi one(55) and a guy was half robot" if that were true then count duko would have been very slow and not a threat. Look at the flip he does in 3 much older than obi one in 4
I think It would be a great Idea because the people from back in the 70's can still watch and enjoy there version. And the new generation of star wars fans can enjoy a new story from a different perspective. This is also a reel good chance for the writers to go crazy when rewriting the depth in the characters to connect to the other characters in the other 3 episodes. This will help them seem like they were created on after the other. Better dialogue and more clarifictation of events would be helpful. The example I will add is how did anakin get that scar in episode three they never told us in the movies. One things for sure they need to truely make Darth Vader a Ruthless emperor. 10 times darker than before. The actor as the emperor should also play the emperor in 4,5,6. the story line wold be better and their wont be any mistakes cuz the old ones had alot of mistakes and i want to see luke use his light saber like his dad cuz in the new ones lightsabers are used 24/7 so yea remake!!!!!!!!!
You are idiots. The original trilogy is the only good thing about Star Wars. If anything the most recent three should be made again. I refuse to even acknowledge their existence. They are the Godfather III of Star Wars.
They need to be remade because I really want to see theme but the old ones were real sleeper movies. I mean I get drowsy every time I try to watch theme, so please remake these movies.
I think they should definetly remake the originals before making the newer ones in an animation!!!!(Clone Wars) I mean come on seing darth vader for more than 2 minutes in hd would be awesome they should definetly remake the old episodes
i loved the origional star wars as well as the new ones but i honestly think that if they remade the the old ones they would turn out better than the new ones have! i hope this happens somtime in the future because im willing to wait a few years lol!
I am a big fan of the movies , and of Mr.Lucas and I'd love see the OT completely redone to match the technical look and feel of 1,2,3 maybe with the inclusion of the story line that takes place with in the Shadows of the Empire book which helps lead us into the The Thrawn Trilogy which would be the logical way to go.
The old Star Wars are a classic yes, but they really should be remade to bring in another generation of fans back to the forefront..George Lucas please!!!!remake the old ones
