We, the undersigned urge Bravo TV to remove Toby Young as a judge on Top Chef on the following grounds:

1) Due to the well known quality of British cuisine, his credentials as "British Food Critic" are frankly as dubious as that of an obesity doctor in Ethopia.

2) He has never worked in a restaurant, had some tangential connection to Food and Wine magazine or been a beautiful Indian model, the previous qualifications for judgeship.

2) An english accent and an acerbic "wit" should not alone qualify one to judge. His prefabricated one liners (some seemingly prepared years in advance) are neither funny, nor applicable to the food he is charged with judging.

Furthermore it is clear that Tom and Padma along with the other guest judges generally want to throttle him, an urge shared by most viewers of the show that should be encouraged, not suppressed.

In short Toby Young must go.
