Are you frustrated with you having to put your CD in the drive everytime you want to play your favourite game? So am I. They need to do something about this. Steam alone is enough verification. Enough with the CDs and Steam. We are not saying CDs are bad just having to open Steam and use a CD to play? Look at people who bought it online, they do not need any CD verification.

I definitely support this petition. I lost my Steam account name and password after i reformatted my computer, then i moved and lost my in-province e-mail. i have the disk but the key has been used already... Good bye G-mod.

i support a no CD patch but the CD key is a good thing allows for two people to not use the same disc so the gaming company dosen't lose money

Fuck Steam. Plain and simple, it's a silly, pointless, poorly designed piece of software. Even when trying to start a game in Steam's "Offline" mode, it will RELENTLESSLY try to dail up, despite being in Offline mode. I'll have a broadband connection by the end of this month. When I get it, I'm going to pirate and crack Half-Life 2 just to send a "Fuck You" to Valve software. I'm never buying another Valve product again!
