Respect For Layne

This petition is for all of those who wish to implore Jerry, Mike, and Sean to please reconsider before continuing making new music and touring under the name Alice in Chains. Layne was not all of AIC, but he was a part of it. Please leave AIC as the special project between the four of you..do not let his memory get lost to the new AIC fans who will not care to know who he was. Do not let it appear as though all he contributed can be filled in and replaced by another. Please let the name AIC stay as what it was...simply as a show of respect for Layne... to acknowledge the specialness the he gave to Alice in Chains. The fanbase is there, even if you change the name..the fan's will follow you...please reconsider your choice to continue as AIC...
