I support this petition because 4 non blondes is a great representation of the smart optimism and idealism of the 90s' Gen X-ers that I was too young to comprehend then but now I look back at with admiration and reverence.
Because when I was a teenager I was dealing with a world of hurt. I was abused, put in and out of institutions and was falling apart. This band saved me, moved me and told me I wasn't alone. It was of to be myself and wacky and different and I should love myself for that (and at times hate myself too) This music was real in a time when reality was covered and some of us just needed to know that we weren't hurting alone. the beauty of music is being lost with all the crap that is going around now-a-days and habving good bands come back it's a great thing for rock. Also, there are a lot of women who call themselves singers and they need to (by listening to Linda) understand that jobs that don't require singing fit them better. Last, I support this petition because I like good rock and roll!
because they were the dukes of hazzardous rock (!) & because Christa Hillhouse was/still is the Baddest, most completely-underrated musician/Basshed in the known universe/free world... right? Right.
There was a lot more talent in 4NB than credit was given. With Linda's uniquely awesome voice & the talents of Roger, Dawn & Christa, 4NB should've been around as long as the Stones. My musical mainstays were Ac/DC & Enya. But if #2 is released, 4NB will return & stay this time. Dawn is much more attractive than Tommy Lee, is a better drummer, hasn't beaten anybody, hasn't been in prison & has a solid musical degree background. How can you miss with talent like that? 4NB had the potential for long-term greatness. Reunite! Release #2! Return!
"Ed is a fool"? Come on! Sorry, I messed up two Canadian bands that sound alike! I was wrong, but now I know what I'm talking about. 4 Non Blondes was great! They had that song about having a million dollars and another one that was a rap song about Aquaman! But I didn't know they had even broken up! PLEASE, VH1, BRING THEM BACK!!!!!!
I support this petition. I loved "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" and "God Shuffled His Feet"! I love the singer's low low low voice! And they're Canadian!!! YAY CANADIA!!!
4 Non Blondes was one of the better bands that never happened. Their solid blues foundation really intrigued me to the band, and I was sorry to hear they didn't make it through the fame. I would love to see this band work together again.
