Bring back Firefly!
At least it was aired in america, here in Australia it was just aired on late night cable tv.
Serenity was a top movie and firefly is a top show!
Firefly is a wonderful blend of western, science fiction and humor. The writing is superb and the acting perfect. Firefly was on it's way to being a top rated series before it was yanked and deserves a second chance on a network that recognizes a class act like Firefly. It may not be a huge money maker as the Star Trek series but it would give a network a diamond in the rough from which to attract an appreciative and loyal audience.
Firefly is one of the best sci-fi shows I've ever seen and Serenity is the best sci-fi movie of the year. Please bring it back!. Joss Whedon is my master now.
At the very least, maybe enough people will subscribe to watch firefly that they'll bring it back to life as a weekly series somehow. ( wouldn't be upset with a few more movies tho)
Firefly is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Fast paced, funny, believable, with an incredible amount of detail lavished on the background. It deserves more than just that one season. Bring it back, please!
This is a show that deserves to be revived. As you can see, the fan base is rather rabid, and we are very good at recruiting new members. Always key when determining profitability.
Firefly is not only one of the most well-written shows I have ever watched, but is one of the most realistic and believable views of our future ever to appear on the large or small screen. That shows of this quality could be axed when they have both a loyal fan base and a committed cast is truly puzzling and saddening.
I have never subscribed to a premium cable network like HBO or Showtime. If one of them picks up Firely, I will subscribe immediately and permanently - even after the last (hopefully 7th) season of Firefly is aired.
Firefly deserces another shot, and I will subscribe to whatever company can give us new episodes. I'm only sorry it took soo long for me to become aware of the show the first time.
The only times I've subscribed to HBO was to watch "From the Earth to the Moon" in 1998 and "Band of Brothers" in 2001. You can be assured I'd sign up again if Firefly was picked up by yourselves. Thank you for your time.
I'm 42, and grew up in the era of Star Wars and Star Trek. Firefly is better than those shows. In my opinion, it's the best SF show I've seen. I think HBO or Showtime would be a perfect fit for this series.
This is one of the best new series Of the past couple years with an amazing expandable and adaptable plot. The only comparable series in my mind are Farscape and Babylon 5.
I will follow this show wherever it goes and will be loyal to the network that picks it up. It was good, quality tv. Something that is in dreadfully short supply nowadays. Thank you. ~Larry Ludwick
