Whoever decides to pick this series up will be guaranteed to have a winner. Just do the research and then watch the series and movies. Then--do the math. Give it time to perculate--then sit back and watch. The true winners will take a little time to sink in and this one has had much of that time already. Please give us our gorram show back *on bended knees*.

I saw the movie. I thought it was good. I then went and found the series, and that was great. I dont watch TV often any more for lack of good shows. If this was on the air, i would watch every episode new or old (new prefered). bring it back.
I just finished watching this series for the first time. If I had known about it to begin with, I would have watched it in 2003. The original people must have done a HORRIBLE job promoting it. I would order HBO just for this series.
To mearly have a movie every couple of years is simply mean give this concept the proper attention it deserves it will be the next buffy if given the chance to bloom
I was introduced to Firefly by a friend, and i had never heard of it before this year. That means, get it marketed and you have yourself an audience. i love this show and the movie. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put it back on the air, you have so much support.
My wife and I recently discovered the show. We have been spreading it to all our friends ever since. If Firefly came back today, it would certainly have a much, much larger audience then when it was originally shown on Fox.
I've just finished watching the series and I still can't understand how any network could be foolish enough to miss out on a money-making thing like this.
This show joins the ranks of futurama, arrested development, family guy and other great shows that virtuosos at FOX seemed to miss the potential of. It seems networks are still more than willing to take a chance on the dying genre of reality televsion (quite unrealistic if you ask me), and shows like this, that make clearly superior viewing are fighting for their survival. The publicity machine is all that's pushing the rubbish out there, apply some of that to a quality program and see what happens!!!!
Although I would certainly add HBO, Showtime, etc. if Firefly was picked up by them, I think the Sci-fi Channel would also be a good home for the series.
Absolutely great little series, cruelly slaughtered by stupid Fox execs... I'll sign up for any premium channel that continues the series - half seasons acceptable! :-)
This is a quality show which was never given proper support by it's original network. A new home would bring loyal fans, as has already been proven with DVD sales.
Please give this show another chance. It was cut short at the worst time and the ground swell of support it's recieved after its cancelation has already reached Star Trek proportions.
