Firefly is one of those great ensemble-cast shows; the dialog is witty, the storylines compelling, and the premise plausible - a highly enjoyable series. Would love to see it taken on by HBO - or any other network for that matter - maybe with new episodes picking up prior to the events in the big-screen movie "Serenity" - b/c I just know I wouldn't enjoy the series as much with Wash and Shepherd Book. Give it a chance HBO - you've got a hole in your sci-fi-fantasy geek segement. But, don't confuse this show w/ standard sci-fi fare - the world Joss Whedon has created is set in the future and it is necessary for the story that it be so; but, this show is about the characters, characters that I miss and hope you will give a second chance.
Firefly is a unique show with fans all over the world! (Case in point: I'm from Norway, and I'm far from the only fan there...) Even if I couldn't see the show as it came out I would definitely by any DVDs that were made available. Please let more people experience the wonder that is Firefly!
I've but the series three times (for me and also gifts for friends) and already pre-ordered 8 copies of the movie - would I watch the show if it ever came back? It would be the only show I WOULD watch!
My favourite show ever. I have traveled many miles to meet the stars, and I have spent much money to have the dvds, comic books, paper back adaptation of the movie, gone to the movie multiple times... anyway, I would like to have my heroes back on TV!
Firefly was amazing, I watched Serenity then grabbed up the box set of the episodes. How could they just drop it with that last episode!!!! Please bring it back!
Firefly was one one of the most refreshing new shows in a long time - clever, brilliantly written, intriguing and inventive, and that credited the audience with some intelligence. That is was cancelled by FOX is unthinkable! It deserves so much better than that!
I sincerely believe it was a tragedy to loose such a relevant SiFi series when the people are in need of quality entertainment. This series has possibilities that are almost limitless given the ensemble of actors and the depth of characters.

The show is absolutely awesome with tons of storylines to follow up on. The characters are amazing and well established. And the idea is one of the more original ones in this era of remakes. Save Firefly!
Only heard of Firelfly after the film came out. Borrowed the series off someone and loved it. The script, the cast, it's just brilliant. Can't believe only one series was made. Best sci fi series I've seen. Make more series dammit!!!
Firefly was a gem and I'd definitely purchase future seasons on DVD and/or subscribe to a webcast...Personally I think it'll be more difficult to convince Joss Whedon to take it up again than a network. If the show was this good without even a full season to spread its wings I can only imagine what it could become...
Firefly is the most dazzlingly complete television series I have seen... probably ever. I can't imagine that it would reach its theoretical apex or run out of steam for a very, very long time.
I never knew about the Firefly TV series until I saw the movie Serenity. I LOVED the movie then discovered there was a TV series. I rented the DVDs and LOVED the series even more. I don't normally watch TV but I would definately make this a weekly routine to sit down and watch new episodes of Firefly. I would even get HBO or Showtime to watch it. Firefly might possibly be the best TV show I have ever seen. Please bring it back with all the surviving characters. And now that I have seen the series I can appropriately weep for Shepard and Wash...

Im not a premium channel subscriber, but if Firefly is resurrected, I'd....well, I'd subscribe to whichever premium channel it was on. Heh. Best....show.....ever.
I never really watch Firefly intil the movie came out then I went and bought the DVD tv series - best $45 I've spent. Very original series and step away from the typical Scifi .
